Team Tennis
Seniors
The club runs one ladies teams and three mens teams, which participate in the leagues run by the East of Scotland Lawn
Tennis Association (ESLTA). The ladies' First Team is in Divisions 4b. The
mens First team are in Division 4a, Second team Division 4b, and the Third team Division 7b. Matches are played on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings (ladies) and Mondays and Wednesday evenings (men) between the
middle of April and the end of June. Three courts are required for these
matches, so there will be a reduced number of courts available for social tennis
on those evenings when matches are played.
The club also runs teams that participate in the
following additional leagues run by the ESLTA:
Veteran Men (over 45 and over 55 teams) on
Sunday mornings in August and September
Mixed Winter Tennis on
Sunday afternoons in October and November.

Senior Match Practice in 2008
Match practice for seniors starts in
the middle of March on the following days:
Men - Sundays from March 30th at 10.00 am until the end of the match
season
Mondays March 24th to April 14th at 6.00 pm.
Ladies - Thursdays from March 27th to April 17th.
Senior league matches start in the week beginning April 21st in 2008 and last for 10 weeks

The teams consist of 4 players, and the matches are played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings in April to June, beginning on Friday TBC. Junior teams also participate in cup matches.
Junior Match Practice in 2008
This will take place on Fridays starting on April
13th at 6.30 pm. A training session taken by Bruce Dickson (Club Coach) for team members will be held on Sunday 25th March; at 10-11:30 for boys and 11:30-1.00pm for girls.
A special match practice for with Tom Gilmour (District Coach) has been arranged for Sunday April 22nd at 10.00 am on Courts 4 to 6.
